Milk

The elegiac second chapter continues in reverse order with the coming-of-age of the filmmaker's muse, Yusuf. The young man lives with his mother, who runs a milk business, in a town that is undergoing rapid modernization. Unsure of his future and unfit for the military due to a childhood illness, Yusuf is further troubled by his mother's new found love affair with the town's station master. His desire to pursue a career in poetry is also reflected in the film's rich visual symbolisms.
